Ross is a board director at Salt Hill Pharma. Ross is Founder and CEO of ARJUNA Therapeutics, based in Spain. He was previously CEO of Silver Creek Pharmaceuticals in San Francisco, and a Consultant Clinical Pharmacologist and Physician at University College London. He trained in Medicine at Oxford University and holds a PhD in Developmental Biology from the University of Cambridge. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of London.
Derek is a scientific advisor at Salt Hill and is overseeing our pivotal mechanistic study using AZD1656. Following a PhD from The William Harvey Research Institute, Derek undertook postdoctoral training internationally before returning to UCL in 2003 as a New Blood Lecturer. Following fellowships from the Welcome Trust, in 2010 he was made Professor of Immunology and is now Head of Dept. Ageing, Rheumatology and Regenerative Medicine at UCL. Derek has been awarded the Bayer International Young Investigator Award (2005), the Novartis Award (2007), and the Peter Dressel award (2020).
Robert is a trustee at Salt Hill Charity, and he is also Professor Emeritus of Nephrology and former Professor of Nephrology and Physiology, UCL. Robert is Chief Scientist at AstraZeneca (kidney diseases) in Translational Science and Clinical Development (TSEM), Early CVRM (Cardiovascular, Renal and Metabolism), Cambridge UK. He is a Fellow of the Physiological Society and also Fellow of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine.
